Substance Abuse Prevention Presentation at Open House!!

Stephanie Masland, from the Hull Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse; Judy Kuehn, Assistant Superintendent; and SRO Sean Fahey work together to educate Memorial Middle School parents about the signs and signals of substance abuse in their children.

For those that missed last nights presentation at Memorial Middle School's Open House, please join us at Hull High school at 7:00 pm tonight, Wednesday, September 13th to hear the brief presentation and to view the display.

This presentation, Hidden in Plain Sight, is sponsored the Hull Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Addiction. Parents are invited to search a staged student bedroom to educate themselves about signs of alcohol and drug use that may be “hidden in plain sight.” The program will include 60+ props that could potentially signal substance abuse. Emerging local drug use trends will be highlighted. The goal of this initiative is to enlighten parents and to encourage them to have honest and candid discussions with their children about substance abuse.
