Incoming Grade 8 Students: Below you will find links to the Quadratic (Accelerated) and Linear/Pre-Algebra Summer Assignments. Please wait until the week of July 11th for a letter from Memorial Middle School before you begin work on one of these packets. This letter will indicate the Math class you will be taking this upcoming school year. Additionally, you will find links for the Grade 8 Summer Reading Assignment and the Grade 8 Supply List.

Hull Park and Recreation Summer Hoops!!


Hull Park and Recreation Summer Hoops registration is now open to all students going into 6th grade through students going into 9th grade. Both for boys and girls, cost is $85 for the summer which includes uniforms. Registration closes Friday, June 17th at 5 pm. Please visit:

End of the Year iPad Collection!!!


Hello Students and Families,

iPads will be collected by the following schedule:

Grade 6 students will turn in their iPads on Friday, June 17th

Grade 7 students will turn in their iPads on Thursday, June 16th

Grade 8 students will turn in their iPads on Thursday, June 16th


Grade 7 Students and Families:  Please be aware that the warranty on your iPad will expire over this summer!!  If your iPad is damaged in any way, now is the time to replace it under warranty.  Simply take the iPad to any Apple store, pay the $50 co-pay, and Apple will hand you a new or refurbished iPad.  Please do not turn in a check with your iPad, the check will be returned to you. 

All Students and Families:  The iPad, charger, and cover (if you were issued one) must be returned.  In the fall, you will receive back exactly what is turned in to us in the same condition.  If an iPad is turned in with a cracked screen, it will be returned to the same student in the same condition.   Over the summer we reset the iPads to original factory settings, perform any updates on software and install new apps for the next grade.

Step-up Day!!

Step-up Day

Memorial Middle School students will participate in Step-up Day on Friday, June 10th.  Grade 6 and 7 students will visit with next year's teachers.  

Grade 8 students will travel to the high school and meet the freshman teachers.  Grade 8 students will leave Memorial Middle School at 8:30 and will return at 11:00 am.

Arts Alive Day, Ice Cream Social, Talent Show

Tuesday, June 7th is our annual Arts Alive Day.  Students will attend an interactive workshop with visiting artists during the Morning of June 7th.  In the afternoon, students will attend a performance of ImprovBoston sponsored by our PTO.  

At 5:30 pm all students are invited to attend an Ice Cream social, also sponsored by our PTO.

At 6:30 pm, the annual talent show will take place in the Auditorium.  All Students and families are invited to attend.

Band Festival in the Park!

Approximately 40 Memorial Middle School 7th and 8th Grade students participated in The Festival in the Parks, a day for middle and high school bands to perform for each other and to receive feedback and advice from other music professionals.  After the festival students headed to Canobie Lake Park and celebrated their hard work.

The High School Fitness Center will be open this Summer. It is open to all Students (Adults also) who are in next years 8th grade and up.
Starts: Monday June 27   Ends:  Friday   August 12  (7 weeks)
Cost:       $60 per,     Family:  2 for $100,  3 or more $150
                         Checks to: Hull Park and Rec.
Hours:
Mon-Thurs.  6:30am-8:00am    Fridays: 6:30am-10:00am
Mon-Thurs.  4:00pm-6:00pm
Saturdays:  9:00am-11:00am
