The National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive in the HHS Gym on Wednesday, December 20th from 10:00-3:00.

The drive is open to students (16+) and the public.

Donors may sign up at

The Red Cross gives back to our students in the form of a scholarship, so the more people who donate, the bigger the scholarship will be for one of our students!

Report Cards and Conferences

November 9, 2017

Dear Parent/ Guardians:

Students have completed the first quarter of the 2017-2018 school year and report cards are now posted to Aspen!  Questions about your child's performance are best answered by his or her subject area teacher.  Contact information for the faculty can be found on our school website:

Any questions about Aspen (https://ma-hull.myfollett.com) or issues with usernames or passwords can be resolved by calling the front office at 781-925-2040.

The end of the first quarter is an important benchmark for students.  I strongly encourage every parent/guardian to meet with their child’s teacher(s) during Parent-Teacher Conferences.   All conferences will be held on Thursday, November 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  Grade 6 and 7 parents/guardians will meet with the entire team. Grade 8 parents/guardians can make appointments with up to 2 teachers. Any grade 8 parent/guardian that would like to meet with more than two teachers should call the school on the day of conferences to see if additional appointments are available.

Parents can make appointments for conferences by accessing the following website:

            https://mms.schoolappointments.com

Parents with an account from previous years can login on the home page and book conference times with your child’s teachers, add students to your account, and view pending appointments. If you are new to the Memorial Middle School Appointments site, you can create an account and proceed with booking.  Video tutorials and a parent instruction guide are available via the Help tab at the top of the page.  Any questions about this website can be directed to the Assistant Principal, Kim Bothwell.

During Parent-Teacher Conferences, the National Junior Honor Society will host a bake sale.  All money raised will be used to support student activities at Memorial Middle School and reduce the cost of field trips and other activities.  Please support our students and purchase some tasty treats!  NJHS students will also serve as time keepers during conferences and will knock on classroom doors to remind teacher and parent when a conference should end.

Finally, Thursday, November 16th is a 60 minute early release day due to conferences.  Students will be dismissed at 1:45.  Lunch will be served.

Thank you for efforts working with the faculty, staff, and administration of Memorial Middle School to provide the best possible education for the children of Hull!  As always, it is a pleasure working and learning with your children.

Sincerely,

Tony Hrivnak
Principal
