Grade 6 Orientation and iPad Information
Welcome to Memorial Middle School!!
Grade 6 Orientation and iPad information distribution will take place according to the following schedule:

Please call the the front office starting on Monday, August 18th to sign up for an orientation session.
The orientation will last
about 1 hour. Some families many not need the whole hour if they have other children that have gone through the iPad program. In addition to information
about the iPad, students and parents/guardians will learn about Aspen, our
database that gives parents access to grades, homework, and attendance. Students and parents/guardians will receive information
about the schedule, locker number and combination, and the use of social media
(Blogspot, Facebook, or Twitter) to stay informed about the school. Those attending may also take a self-guided
tour of the building. Maps and other
information will be provided and stations will be set up throughout the building to assist with the
tour. Students will not receive their
iPads during orientation. iPads will be
issued to students during the first week of school. Students and their parents/guardians must attend an orientation in order to receive an iPad. If you cannot attend the sessions listed, please contact the school to make alternative arrangements. (This is not a drop off event!! Students and
a parent or guardian must attend the orientation together.)
