Penny Wars - NJHS raised $712 for The Jimmy Fund!!

Members of the National Junior Honor Society organized a Penny War between the first period classes at Memorial Middle School.  MMS collected over 150 pounds of coins and raised a total of $712.21.  These funds will be donated to The Jimmy Fund.  Ms. Reardon's first period class had the highest point total and won our first Penny War.  Points are won by placing pennies in a jar in each classroom.  Points are lost by placing silver coins and paper money into the jar.  Ms. Reardon's class was treated to a game of Dodge Ball and chose the charity that will receive the funds. Thank you to all who participated!
