Congratulations Edie Brooks!
Last month, some of our sixth grade students entered a national
essay contest sponsored by Scholastic Scope magazine. Edie Brooks
was one of five winners chosen from all over the country! Edie wrote
an essay titled, “The Great Bird Poop Solution”, in which she explained why
bird poop is a problem in cities and towns and how the problem can be
solved. Edie won a hardback edition of the Newbery Honor book Moonbird
and a letter from the editor of Scholastic Scope magazine. Congratulations Edie!
