"Smoking - Don't Go There" Poetry Contest

In celebration of the NSDMS 2017 Smoke Out Program “Smoking Don’t Go There”

How: Submit a poem in any format - haiku, sonnet, etc. celebrating the theme of “Smoke Free Kids”. Please include your contact information on the back of your poem. (Name, school, grade, age, address, and phone number)

When: Submit your poem by February 28, 2018

Read-A-Thon

Memorial Middle School Read-A-Thon!
The Read-A-Thon begins Friday, January 26th at 3 P.M. and ends Sunday, February 4th at 10 P.M.
Students keep a log with their name, grade, title of reading selection, duration of reading, and adult signature. Pledges may be a flat sum or a per-hour rate. All cash and checks (made payable to Hull PTO) should be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Read-A-Thon” and brought to Memorial Middle School by February 9th to be entered in the drawing for prizes!
Prizes include Bluetooth speakers, giftcards, Amazon Echo Dots, chargers, Principal/Assistant Principal for the Day, books, and more. If every student raises just $25, we will have $5000 for student trips and activities!

Hull PTO Pie and Pastry Sale!

*********SPRING PIE/PASTRY SALE*********
The Hull PTO is running a pie and pastry fundraiser just in time for Easter or Spring Get-Togethers! Students will be selling from January 30th through February 13th. Pies are $17.00 each and come in ten different varieties; pastries are $13.00 each and come in eight varieties. Order forms will be sent home in the elementary and middle schools next week.  High school students can print order forms from the blog attachments. Payments are due when orders are placed, and checks should be made out to: Hull PTO. ORDERS WILL BE DELIVERED TO MEMORIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, March 27th - just in time for Easter!

The Hull PTO provides financial support to the Hull Public Schools for events such as:

HHS Band Can and Bottle Drive!


Can and Bottle Drive

The High School Band is running a Can and Bottle Drive this Saturday, January 20th, at the A Street Bus Lot from 9:00 A.M. - NOON.  Cans/bottles will also be picked up from schools on Friday, January 19. Please drop off/let schools know by Thursday if you plan to drop off cans/bottles.

THE SEASON FOR 3RD-8TH GRADERS IS SCHEDULED TO START 
SATURDAY 1/13 AT JACOBS ELEMENTARY
ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING GAME SCHEDULE*:

Junior Girls (3rd-5th Grade): 8:00AM & 9:00AM
Junior Boys (3rd-5th Grade): 8:00AM & 9:00AM 
Senior Girls (6th-8th Grade): 10:00AM & 11:00AM 
Senior Boys (6th-8th Grade): 12:00PM & 1:00PM 

*Schedule is subject to change depending on the final number of teams
