Grade 7 students from Memorial
Middle School will have their artwork on display at Barnes & Noble at the
Derby Street Plaza in Hingham on November 22nd. Grade 7 students wrote original
short stories and then created handmade books with original book cover art,
illustrations, and hand stitched bindings to depict their short stories.
Additionally, several Grade 7 students will take part in a voluntary field trip to the
book store to teach this craft to younger children. While the art will be
on display all day, student will demonstrate the craft from 3:30 to 4:30
p.m.
